Make a Paperweight
Workshop 2022

New Zealand Glassworks – Te Whare Tūhua o Te Ao (NZG) hosts a range of workshops and experiences for the whole community. NZG is committed to cultural activity and education of glass. Are you fascinated by the 2000 year old art of glass blowing? Our one-day workshops are intended for beginners who have little or no experience with molten glass. Emphasis is placed on the skills necessary to complete a simple paperweight. Our Make a Paperweight workshops are a great introduction to the art of hot glass. You don't have to have any prior experience and it's guaranteed fun!
