A number of auction records were achieved this month.
Elizabeth Thomson’s Lepidoptera 1992 reached $21,000 and Wilhemina Bay 2005, by Anne Noble went for $9,000 at Dunbar Sloane’s New Zealand and International Fine Art auction. The auction of fine and applied art also included pieces by Don Binney, Rita Angus and Ralph Hotere.
